Bianca Ferrari
Writer · Poet · Editor · Translator

I work in four languages and move between media, bringing curiosity and care to every project. Over the past eight years, I’ve edited and translated features for VICE, written slow-burn articles, essays, and poems, translated everything from apps to literature, and sharpened language for social media campaigns. The common thread in all my work is emotional resonance — and an enduring love of language.
Writing
I’ve written for outlets like VICE, Beanz Magazine, DW and Amsterdam-based print-only publications. I write about (online) culture, mental health and neurodivergence.
Copyediting
With over four years as a Senior Copy Editor at VICE, I’m skilled at shaping tone, clarifying structure and editing with intention to turn raw texts into accessible, engaging content. I pay close attention to accuracy, nuance, and inclusive, respectful language.
Translating
I translate Italian, French and German into English with a focus on editorial and cultural texts. My strengths lie in translating context as well as language, shaping texts that can be read by international audiences as if they were written in English from the start.
Creative Writing
My poems have appeared in ISSUE Magazine and Poetry Trapper Keeper and, most importantly, disappeared in my notes app. I am still a little shy about sharing my more personal work, but here's a sneak peak.
